Leila Brown

Leila has been an avid reader since the fifth grade. As she got older she read everything she could get her hands on from horror, to mystery and finally stopping in romance.
While in college studying computer programming and electrical engineering, she realized what she wanted to do when she grew up. She wanted to write those stories that entertained her through more nights than she could remember. Of course her first attempts were less than remarkable and have been destroyed to protect the innocent.

Currently, she works a normal 9 to 5 in the IT world. She writes during her lunch hour and at home after 9pm when everyone in her house is asleep.

Is it easy?…Yes and No. Coming up with the stories is easy. Getting the words out of her head and onto paper is HARD!

But she couldn’t live without it!

The Diamond Heartstone

A Chance Encounter

The Diamond Heartstone is a fascinating page-turner. I love it when Barrick tells Alycia she talks too much. Their actions are so real as they come in contact with each other. The banter keeps the storyline moving at a good pace. Leila Brown sketches characters that stick in the readers mind even after the story is finished. I love the way she brings in the premise of Barrick and the tiger. I also liked the fact that Alycia really cares for the tiger and other animals. The setting with the maze of hallways put this reader right in the center of the action with the other cats, it was that description, and kept me glued wondering what would happen next. There were some twists and turns, with a few intense moments that this reader enjoyed. All in all this was a splendid read. — Linda L., http://www.fallenangelreviews.com/2008/January/LindaL-TheDiamondHeartstone.htm

[Sacrifice] gripped me from the first sentence. Ms. Brown encompassed gory fight scenes, passionate episodes, and a struggle for survival into this wonderful tale. As the drama unfolded, Sienna’s desperation enthralled and transfixed me in her struggle with everyday life. This account of love and life had me riveted from the beginning. Great Read! — Danielle, http://www.coffeetimeromance.com/BookReviews/Thevampireoraclesacrifice.html

Leila Brown wrote this story [Sacrifice] in such a fashion, that the action is quick and keeps coming in this sexy vampire romance. Her characters are sexy and the sexual attraction and tension will certainly keep your blood flowing through the veins. — Ruth Schaller, http://www.paranormalromance.org/reviews/review.php?id=29443

Ms. Brown touched on a skill that isn’t easy to do – at least it’s not always easy to read – each chapter is written almost exclusively from the other character’s perspective. It was a very interesting way to read into the story and it kept it alive for me, it kept each chapter fresh.

But what will happen to these two? Sworn enemies that can’t seem to keep their hands off each other … and they don’t hide the fact that they both burn for the other. This was a great view into these two characters which left me wanting more. — Stacy, http://bittenbybooks.com/?p=599

SOUNDWAVE’S SURRENDER is a really fun and naughty read. It reminds me of the comic books we all used to read as kids, but with a decidedly grown up storyline. General Pane and Soundwave are both great characters and Leila Brown does a terrific job describing their feelings and characteristics, as well as the intergalactic world in which the story takes place. The love scenes are very hot and steamy, with a few very intriguing, futuristic kinks thrown in. Although SOUNDWAVE’S SURRENDER has a definite science fiction theme, I think all fans of erotic romance will enjoy reading about Soundwave and her General. I certainly did. — Cheryl McInnis, http://romancejunkiesreviews.com/artman/publish/paranormal/Soundwave_s_Surrender.shtml

A CHANCE ENCOUNTER is a highly entertaining and enjoyable story about three people struggling to make their relationship work. Heather’s nervousness about giving up control and the dominant personalities of the Grey brothers make for plenty of conflict, but there is also a lot of caring and genuine affection among the three of them. Ms. Leila Brown has penned a novella that, while heavy on the erotic side, has no shortage of romance. A CHANCE ENCOUNTER is a great read if you are looking for something short and sweet with a little spice on the side. — Cheryl McInnis, http://romancejunkiesreviews.com/artman/publish/paranormal/A_CHANCE_ENCOUNTER.shtml
